Yes, we are!
As Rev. John mentioned in a recent blog post, Cypress Creek has made a giant leap forward in our use of technology...we've just added a new web site component that includes the ability to take advantage of podcasting!
Podcasting is a free service that allows Internet users to pull audio files (typically MP3s) from a podcasting web site (such as ours now!) to listen to on their computers or personal digital audio players. The term comes from a combination of the words iPod (a personal digital audio player made by Apple) and broadcasting. Even though the term is derived from the iPod, you don't need an iPod to listen to a podcast. You can use virtually any portable media player or your computer.

As John said, for some of you, this isn't anything new, but it does represent a giant leap forward for most of our congregation. If you've wanted to listen to our weekly messages but don't always remember to visit the website each week, you're in luck. With podcasting, you can subscribe to the Cypress Creek "channel" and as new messages are added each week, you automatically get them downloaded to iTunes or any other podcasting software that you choose.
If you prefer to read or download the audio of the weekly messages, don't worry - you can still do that as well.
Audio files will be available for up to 3 months, but we'll retain PDF documents of sermons indefinitely.
