Even in his early days of public ministry, Jesus was out recruiting leaders, looking for those who would be willing to follow even when the going got tough. In Luke, Jesus uses a 3-step process that can inform us how God is going to do a new thing in our midst and how we are going to participate in it. Test of availability. Test of authority. Test of humility.
