Singles Ministry - Cypress Creek Christian Church and Community Center, Spring, Texas

Northside Singles Ministries is a group of single adults over 50 years of age who come together for fun, friendship and support. The group is composed of single adults who are divorced, widowed or never married and provides a vital support system for many of the members.

We meet every Sunday morning at 9:15 in Annex 30, for coffee and fellowship. At 9:45, we have a program which consists of contemporary topics, spirituality, personal enlightenments, and often a speaker on various topics. After church services at 12:30, we meet for lunch at an area restaurant.

We have a calendar of activities and events that that take place on almost every day of the week. Some of the activities include lunches and dinners out at local restaurants, house parties for games, conversation, pool parties, theme parties, holiday parties.

We also take bus trips thru Precinct 4 to activities such as museums, festivals, plays or whatever may be suggested. Some of the longer travel trips we have been to are San Diego, Branson, Europe, Holy Lands and cruises. We try to take at least 2 long trips a year.

Being a part of Northside Singles also means giving back to the community. Some of the outreach programs we support are Northwest Assistance Ministries, Boys and Girls County, Operation Interdependence and Cypress Creek Christian Church.

We have great time together and would welcome anyone who would like to visit any of our activities to see if you would be interested in joining us for fellowship and its blessings.

We currently have over 140 members in the group. Many are members of Cypress Creek Christian Church; however, many are members of other denominations. Many of the singles who visit our group come with a desire to reconnect with their spirituality. If you do not have a church home at the present time, you may want to attend some of the church services and find that the church meets your spiritual needs. The congregation will be happy to have you as a part of their church family.
