The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
Founded in the 1830s, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a mainline Protestant denomination of nearly one million members. We celebrate the Good News that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and our personal Savior.
While there is no church doctrine other than our common conviction that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and our personal Savior, Disciples churches are characterized by five other commonly held beliefs:

The Cypress Creek Christian Church and Community Center was founded in 1972 by a dozen families; our congregation now has over 900 active members. We seek to be the "hands and feet of the Christ" ministering to a challenging world.
