ECCLESIOLOGICAL ETCHING
April 5, 2021
Prayer for the Week: Easter is over, yet Easter begins anew within us. O God, in you there is no ending, only life in its fullest form. Though we think of Easter as a specific date on the calendar, it is who you are and who you have always been. Resurrection is how we describe your power at work in a finite world. Today, as Christianity puts away Easter symbols and the chocolate bunnies go on sale, the empty tomb remains our story and the lens through which we understand life itself. If we have died with Christ, as Paul suggested, we will also live with Christ. It is the life you intended for us and all the world. Easter is over, yet Easter begins anew within us today. Alleluia! May Christ’s rising forever be our inspiration. Amen.
