Prayer for the Week: O Breath of Life, O Spirit of Grace, we seek your holy presence that is forever with us and for us. Assist our awareness so we are better able to recognize you, your counsel and your guidance. In you, there is a power to change lives, to change systems and structures. Where there is unhealthiness and unwholeness, fill us with your life-giving, life-changing power. Make us full participants in the healing and transformation of this world, the mending and recasting of everything that seeks to undermine your gift of love. We ask this prayer with some trepidation, knowing that change is not simply for something or someone else, but needed within us all. Let any apprehension we have be cast aside as we make room for the fullness of your Spirit to dwell. Amen.
