O Wisdom from on High
So many names pointing to your one true message, so many ways of guiding our holy quest toward an experience of you. It is nearly Christmas, yet the journey is far from over. The Advent of your grace, the appearance of your love tucked into a feeding trough with an exhausted mother and flustered father is what we seek. Let the vision of Isaiah – mountains made low and valleys lifted and the smoothing of rough places – become for us the path to Christmas. And even when it is not, provide us a tenacity by which we shall find a way. These words are offered in the name of the one our heart yearn to meet. Amen.
