ECCLESIOLOGICAL ETCHINGS

From Sunday’s Handout
If you were to make a wish for Cypress Creek Christian Church, what might that wish be? If we were to listen to one another’s wishes, there would probably be some pretty wonderful or even wonderfully outlandish ideas. It is one thing to wish for something and another to have hope. Hope is allowing ourselves to connect with God’s dream and believing that dream shall come into reality through us. Anything good and healing in this world started as a hope. Of course, growing in our understanding of the dream we hope for is everything. What do you believe God’s hope to be for our church?
Prayer: Holy God, I want to know your dream, a dream that is more than even the best of wishes. I want to know your dream for my life, a dream that has its beginning and end in your eternal and unconditional love. I want to know your dream for my church, and how it can be realized through me. Amen.
