For this reason I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is within you through the laying on of my hands; for God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.
Thought for the Day: This week will present many challenges. It doesn’t matter where you are or what you are doing in life. We choose to make it a challenge when we choose to make faith a priority, yet to say something is a challenge does not automatically mean it is an inconvenience or painful. Challenges are what motivate us to rise in the morning and give of ourselves. Rekindle the gifts you have to offer to the challenges of this day, for God has not given you a spirit of cowardice, but a spirit of power and love.
Prayer: Merciful God, may the challenges of this day bring forth the best within me. Amen.
