But truly God has listened; he has given heed to the words of my prayer.
Thought for the Day: Tomorrow is the World Day of Prayer, a worldwide movement started by women to affirm their common connection to Jesus, and to share their joys and sorrows, gifts and needs. It was Corrie ten Boom who said that we should not pray when we feel like it, but to make an appointment with God and keep it. Since tomorrow is the World Day of Prayer, let me suggest that we each make an appointment with God. Don’t wait until it feels right or you need something. Instead, keep the appointment and discover the topic on which God wishes to converse.
Prayer: You have given heed to my words, O God, and because I have chosen to listen, I have heard your ever so gentle response. It affirms my belief in your unceasing love. Amen.
