Scripture: Romans 15:33
The God of peace be with all of you. Amen.
Thought for the Day: I was listening again to the song, It Is Well With My Soul, and I found myself being draw into the words found in the opening lines. It says,
When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say,
It is well, it is well with my soul.
I believe the peace of God seeks to attend to us and to journey with us in such a way as to create a life that is at-one with self, the world and God – a life that is fully centered in the love revealed in Jesus. Today, I pray that such a peace flows like a river into my life, for clearly I will not find such peace through my own abilities.
Prayer: O Giver of Peace, allow your gift to attend to me and to work through me for the creation of a love-centered life. Amen.
