Prayer for the Week: Spirit of Life and Love, you know us and you know the change needed within us if we are going to be the instruments of change for which this world is crying out. Where you are seeking to shape us to be a revelation of Jesus, whisper words of encouragement that we might grow in our trust of what you are seeking to do. Empty our hearts of anxiety, and fill them instead with wonder and curiosity for what is possible. Release us from the chains of complacency, and wherever fear sneaks in, we look for the nudge that comes from the power and truth of love. Continue to expand our vision, allowing us to see beyond all the obstacles that hinder your call for justice and kindness. It is Jesus, the Living One, whose presence pushes us forward day after day. Amen.
