From the Handout Yesterday
Over the last five weeks, both members and church staff have written and talked about places where they see Cypress Creek Christian Church providing access to life-giving water. Many beautiful and inspiring stories have been shared. Because none of us see everything happening in the life of the church, it is good to have other perspectives. And even when someone’s insight is outside of our usual sphere, these other stories provide reason to pause and give thanks. If we were to limit what we do to only those things everyone could witness, we would dramatically diminish what God is trying to do around here. However, it’s important to remember that the incredible ways we’re currently blessing others are not the end of the possibilities. As you look to 2027, be mindful of how God might be speaking to you and encouraging a new way of providing living water for those who thirst.
In a parched and tired world, O Giver of Life and Love, provide us opportunities to serve today, while also dreaming of what has yet to come. Amen.
