Prayer for the Week: Living and Life-giving Spirit, we seek to center ourselves in your loving presence. As we hear voices seeking to play on our anxiousness, we breathe in your grace and release that part of us that can so easily be drawn into the manipulative games that are played. Grant us wisdom to know when those games are being played and the capacity to walk away. In a world where perfection is an unspoken expectation, we earnestly seek your Spirit to transform our pursuit of perfection into a passionate yearning for faithfulness. May we silence the cacophony of comparison that amplifies our insecurities and rediscover that sacred place where we can rekindle our unwavering trust in your immeasurable love. We offer this prayer as those who continue to seek that holy and peaceful center. Amen.
