Sing to the Lord, all the earth! Tell of his salvation from day to day.
Thought for the Day: Often our prayers are looking for quick and dramatic results, yet if we are not paying attention, we may miss the amazing change that it is taking place within us. It was St. Augustine who said, “He who sings prays twice.” Music is one of the transformational tools of prayer by which the musician is changed. And by the change within the musician, the world begins to change. The lead singer of U2, Bano, added to our thinking on this subject when he said, “Music can change the world because it can change people.” Sing…even if you are not so good. It is still a prayer that will change you and the world around you.
Prayer: They may not be worthy of recording, but may the joyful songs of my heart be a prayer unto you, O Loving Lord. Amen.
