Scripture: Philippians 4:15
You Philippians indeed know that in the early days of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you alone.
Thought for the Day: Who is it for you? Whose sharing of the Gospel – in word or in deep – has been so beautiful and profound that it changed your life? Paul was that gift to others, but he appreciated others who shared in the matter of giving and receiving. As I think about Cypress Creek Christian Church during the Advent and Christmas season, I must confess that I have witnessed the Gospel coming alive. Whether it was the Denominational Special Day Offering, the Christmas Bags for NAM, the wonderful giving toward our Crossing Over Campaign or the sharing of musical gifts, this church has left my spirit blessed beyond measure. You have shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving.
Prayer: Thank you, Good and Gracious God, for all those who have provided me insight to your Gospel of love. Amen.
