Thought for the Day: There is a lot of talk about how people’s personal lives should make no difference as long as they get the job done in their professional lives. I don’t wish to enter a debate within this devotional on whether, for instance, professional sports figures should consider themselves role models or not. What I do know is that people of faith should be very concerned about their own lives, as there should be no disconnection between private and professional, between personal and public. For a Christian, there is simply one’s life.
Prayer: Healing God, make me a complete person so the fullness of my life might bring you glory. Amen.
