Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and sustain in me a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you.
Thought for the Day: Gandhi once said, “Service which is rendered without joy helps neither the servant nor the served. But all other pleasures and possessions pale into nothingness before service which is rendered in a spirit of joy.” Whatever we do for the sake of others, if done with a spirit of whiny negativity, will be perceived as rather empty. Joy is the game changer for both parties.
Prayer: Creator God, continue to provide me reason for a joyful heart so that I may serve you and those around me. Amen.

We do! I am currently teaching a study on Embracing Forgiveness. I teach it at both noon and 6:30. Our evening class has been small this time, but we’d love for you to join us. In a few weeks, we will begin our Lenten Study that will look at the Gospel of John. Hope to see you!
