Let’s not get tired of doing good, because in time we’ll have a harvest if we don’t give up.
Thought for the Day: Last night, the final song during the Super Bowl Halftime Show was from Coldplay, entitled Up&Up. I had never heard the song before, but I loved its positive and hopeful tone. It concludes with the simple words:
Don’t ever give up
Don’t ever give up
Believe in love
I wonder if the church over complicates things some times. Do we muck things up while a Super BowL Halftime Show communicates a message that is life-giving and filled with hope? In life, the one who speaks in uncomplicated ways is often the one who is most impactful.
Prayer: We do not wish to grow tired of doing what is good, and so we turn to you, O Lord, in hopes of remaining faithful and seeing a true harvest. Amen.
