Therefore I do my best always to have a clear conscience toward God and all people.
Thought for the Day: Guilt is a strange thing. There are times when you’d think that someone should feel a little guilt because of what s/he has done, yet the person appears unfazed by what has occurred. There are others who made an honest mistake and sought forgiveness, yet they remain overwhelmed with a sense of guilt. God desires for all of creation to have a clear conscience whether the people know they need it or not. Guilt can awaken us to a wrong doing/decision, yet long-held guilt can be very destructive. God never desired to see us weighted down by guild.
Prayer: Lead me to that place, O Lord, where I am truly free from all that encumbers my spirit. Amen.
