Scripture: Proverb 14:31
Those who oppress the poor insult their Maker, but those who are kind to the needy honor him.
Thought for the Day: What have you done today to either insult or honor the Maker? Excluding prayer or participating in other traditional religious activities, what have you done to either insult or honor the Maker? How we treat others says a lot about our understanding of God, but remembering that we too were created in the image of God, how we treat ourselves says a lot about our understanding of God. Do something today for someone else that will honor the Maker, but also do something for yourself that will honor the Maker.
Prayer: For you are the Source of Life, and I pray that my life gives honor to you as I respect and treat graciously all that your hand has touched. Amen.
