Thought for the Day: I have always thought of my faith journey as being reflected in the words of Winston Churchill who said, “Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.” Practice does not make perfect, but it has taught me the power of grace and second chances. It is about showing up, sharing love to the best of your ability, and to celebrate God’s mercy when your best effort will not put you on the fast track for sainthood. We’ve got work to do, so let’s stumble ahead together with as much love and kindness as we can muster.
Prayer: Thank you for your grace, O God of immeasurable generosity. Thank you for sticking with me despite my failures and less than stellar moments. Amen.
