Scripture: Romans 12:15
Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.
Thought for the Day: I am attempting to write this devotional on my iPhone before it is drained of power. Like many of you, I remain without power. It is a good reminder at how spoiled we are, though it is important to remember those for whom electricity is crucial because of medical equipment or medications that must remain refrigerated. At this time, we are unsure if the church building has sustained any damage because of the high water, but the church (the community of believers) is resilient. Please let us know how we can be helpful if you are experiencing difficulty. We wish to be community in this time. Email me at: pastorfrogge@yahoo.com. Because I have no power, I am a bit limited, but I’m sure that will change in the next 12-24 hours.
Prayer: Gracious and Merciful God, you have always supplied an abundance of love in times of difficulty. Often you have called your community, the church, to be the vehicle of that love. We stand ready. Call us, and we will strive to put your love first where we can. Amen.
