Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
Thought for the Day: My own understanding can mean over analyzing a situation, making things more complex than what they really are, or on another extreme – totally ignoring the obvious. In the most perplexing jaw dropping moments in life there is so much peace in knowing that God has already interpreted this moment in time. Trust that God has already choreographed divine steps for every situation if you only submit and acknowledge his presence. I like his direction much better than leaning on my owns.
Prayer: Thank you Father for your unfailing love that gives omniscient guidance in all we do and see. Help our hearts to be receptive to your direction. In your son Jesus name we pray; Amen.
