When he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was in turmoil, asking, “Who is this?”
Thought for the Day: So different was Jesus and his teachings that the people wanted to know, “Who is this?” Today, people ask, “Who is this guy?” because it appears we have a Jesus with multiple personalities. The Jesus people see is dependent upon the denomination, tradition or lack thereof that is speaking of him. Yet each of these different groups would claim their understanding of Jesus comes from the Bible. I won’t suggest that each group is correct, but there is probably something truthful in many of the different denominations/traditions. Let us be mindful of these differences, listen to the diversity of opinion, and not be afraid when our understanding is challenged by another group.
Prayer: Lord, may I listen and learn, share and participate, so that we might all grow in our understanding of you. Amen.
