Scripture: Hebrews 2:15
…and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by the fear of death.
Thought for the Day: William Sloane Coffin said, “If your heart is full of fear, you won’t seek truth; you’ll seek security. If a heart is full of love, it will have a limbering effect on the mind.” One of the biggest mistakes in American Christianity is to assume we are called to be secure. God never invited people to find a nice quiet and secure place to live their lives. Instead, we are invited to trust in God and live faithfully even when our current circumstance is lacks security. Of course, the first step to such a life is to relinquish our fears. That is the growing edge for most of us.
Prayer: Where you need me, I will go. When I feel insecure, you will provide me peace. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

Love it. The christian life does not eliminate drama…..just the cheap drama. Taking risks for the sake of love is what it is all about.
