Scripture: Psalm 16:5 (the Message)
My choice is you, God, first and only. And now I find I’m your choice!
Thought for the Day: In a conversation he was having with Harry Potter, Albus Dumbledore said, “…we have to make a choice between what is right and what is easy.” The choice to follow God is not an easy one even though there are many who describe it in those terms. The good news is that long before we chose to follow God, God decided to reach out to us and to make a way for us to actually make that choice. I suspect it was an easy choice for God to make, yet the living out of that choice was far from easy.
Prayer: In your love, O Lord, you chose me and through that I discovered what it means to be loved. Amen.
