Scripture: Ephesians 1:15-16
I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, and for this reason I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers.
Thought for the Day: In a world where most of the news we hear is associated with bad behavior or mean-spiritedness, hate or greed, it would be nice to hear a few more stories about those whose love toward others was so amazing that it yielded gratitude among those who simply caught wind of what was happening. What could the church do this week so profound that people who simply heard about its actions would be giving thanks? What simple thing could you do that would produce appreciation by someone who witnessed your work?
Prayer: May your spirit working through your church, O Lord, generate a worshipful gratitude among those who hear about the good being done. Amen.
