I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
Thought for the Day: William Ward, an English missionary, once said: “God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say ‘thank you?’” Most every one of us has numerous things for which we should be thankful. Whether we are offering a prayerful thank you to God or expressing this gratitude to someone who went out of his/her way to help, a spirit of appreciation teaches us humility.
Prayer: Merciful God, may I always appreciate just how interdependent this world is, and in that recognition, give appropriate thanks! Amen.
