Know that the Lord is God. It is he that made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Thought for the Day: My friend Eric recently referenced a billboard outside of Indianapolis that read, “In these times what matters is self-worth not net worth.” How many of us agree with the sentiment, but still struggle to appreciate the true value of ourselves? This is not a maybe or a possibility or even a pretty good likelihood. We belong to God despite all the possible arguments to the contrary. God has brought us into the fold, and there we stay because of the power of divine love.
Prayer: I give you thanks, O Lord, for you brought me into life and in doing so gave me value. Amen.
