Thought for the Day: Rev. Michael Slaughter said, “God isn’t calling you to release what you don’t have; God is calling you to release what you do have.” The problem lies in that we are in a state of perpetual denial. Some might say we don’t know what we have, but I think most of us do not wish to acknowledge what we have because we do not believe we are capable of living without it. Most gifts will know their completeness only after they are shared with the world. What gift do you have that would strengthen and enrich the life of another?
Prayer: Your gracious gifts, O God, are given without measure. May I receive, embrace and share these gifts with the same graciousness through which they were given to me. Amen.
