Scripture: 1st Thessalonians 1:8
For the word of the Lord has sounded forth from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place your faith in God has become known, so that we have no need to speak about it.
Thought for the Day: Don’t be surprised when you run into your faith coming full circle. We don’t set out to see what we get back, but it’s amazing how often the reverberations of what we have done return to where they started. People often say, “What goes around comes around,” and though it’s not a perfect formula, I find there to be real truth in those words… especially when it is an act of kindness, forgiveness or compassion.
Prayer: God, work through my simple acts of faith so that their effects are felt far beyond the original audience. Amen.
