Thought for the Day: We are saved that we might be called; rescued for a mission; liberated to do a holy vocation. These two ideas are inseparable, and neither side of the pair has its beginning with us. God is the One who motivates and inspires. We have the freewill to agree to participate or walk away, yet God will always stay true to the task of drawing us close so we might be sent out.
Prayer: O God of all creation, may your redemptive love continue to come upon me and then work through me. Amen.
