Prayer for the Week: Steadfast God – Inspiration of Faithful Souls – our voices are many, though dispersed in homes, apartments and living centers throughout our community. Our voices do not join together as they once did in songs of praise and hymns of admiration, yet there is nothing stopping us from offering words of praise and admiration even if our solo voice is not ready for the stage. Throughout this coming week, reveal new ways for us to connect as a congregation committed to the Love First Life. Teach us, as you have so many previous generations, how to love when the world is turned upside down. There will be many who will choose a path other than the one made real in Jesus, yet we can feel comfortable in declaring that you remain unchanged amid the upheaval and uncertainty of this moment. You are steadfast, O Lord, and you continue to inspire the souls of the faithful. This we pray in the name of Jesus, our mentor and model. Amen.
