From Birth to Death to Rebirth –
Source of Love and Light –
Architect of Hope and Joy –
Meet us in the promise of this day
Invite us into your dream
Form us to the way of Jesus.
You are the Prime Mover –
the Designer and Mentor –
for the life you cast before us.
Provide us faith
Supply us courage
Inspire within us a tenacity
capable of Christ-like living
in a world fueled by fear
and constrained by COVID.
Today, we awaken to crisis and chaos,
but also to your presence
that shall not yield to the things
that seek to incite our anxiety.
May your Everlasting Ethos accompany us
as we do all things within our power
to disclose unconditional love,
to clear a path of ever-flowing justice.
We are not alone –
Never have been
Never will be.
