Scripture: Deuteronomy 32:1-3 Heaven! Pay attention and I will speak; Earth! Listen to the words of my mouth. My teaching will fall like raindrops; my speech will settle like dew— like gentle rains on grass, like spring showers on all that is green— because I proclaim the LORD’s name: Give praise to our God! Thought for the Day: The French poet, Anatole France, said the following: Nine tenths
Scripture: Galatians 4:4-5 But when the fulfillment of the time came, God sent his Son, born through a woman, and born under the Law. This was so he could redeem those under the Law so that we could be adopted. Thought for the Day: I think it is a sign that I’m getting old when my first thought at seeing that it was the last day of
Scripture: Galatians 2:16 However, we know that a person isn’t made righteous by the works of the Law but rather through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. Thought for the Day: I don’t know who said it, but I have always liked the reminder that work should not be entirely about survival or making sure we have enough. We do not work simply to purchase items and make
Scripture: Psalm 8:3-5 When I look up at your skies, at what your fingers made— the moon and the stars that you set firmly in place—what are human beings that you think about them; what are human beings that you pay attention to them?
