This coming Sunday, August 21, we will have our usual three worship services (8:15am, 9:30am & 11:00am). In addition to our morning services, you are invited to attend one of the Congregational Conversations at either 9:30 or 11:00 in the Forum. If these times do not work for you, we will offer opportunities next Wednesday, Aug. 24, at noon and 6:30, and Thursday, Aug. 25, at 6:30pm.
As we begin to think about who we are and where we are going, I believe the following quote from Henry David Thoreau can begin to challenge us:
“If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams,
and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined,
he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.”
Prayer: Give us ears to hear and hearts to perceive what it is that you, O Merciful God, desire for us to do and to be. Amen.
