Scripture: 1st Peter 4:10
Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.
Thought for the Day: Each person has been gifted for the purpose of building up the Kingdom of God here on earth, yet there are many people who do not see themselves as gifted. For whatever reason, they perceive their abilities as insignificant or even worthless. In 1st Peter, we read how we are to be good stewards (managers) of the gracious gifts God has bestowed upon us. Yet I believe that when one person serves in grace, it can be the catalyst that draws out the hidden gifts in another. Generosity of spirit breeds generosity of spirit.
Prayer: Your love, O Lord, is amazing…and through your rich grace, you have gifted me. May I learn to share my gifts with the same grace with which they were given. Amen.
