Prayer for the Week: You hear our voices; you know our concerns; you feel our anxiousness. There is nothing we can hide from you, Merciful God, yet too often we try to disregard what is happening with in us. We attempt to ignore the very emotions that are swirling around inside of us, those tormenting whispers that enjoy the darkness of night. Come and announce with boldness the peace of your Spirit. Come and declare the serenity of holy respite engendered by the Great Comforter. In uncertain times, when the only control is deciding what room in the house to eat lunch, we look with hope to your everlasting love and unwavering grace. It is there, Tenacious Savior, that we find once more the cornerstone of our faith. Reveal to us with clarity your presence as our Rock and our Redeemer. Amen.
