Prayer for the Week: God, you are the source of all good gifts. In our post-flood reality, we have felt a range of emotions – frustration, exhaustion, sadness, disappointment and hope. It seems a bit strange that hope can still find a way of sneaking into what was and continues to be a great challenge, yet is shouldn’t be strange or even a surprise. You are the God who continues to walk into the darkness of our tombs and declares life. You do not dismiss or ignore our hurt. You are the One who is both persistent and patient, walking with us through dark valleys and into the light of a new day. As we prepare are to open another building on our campus here at Cypress Creek Christian Church, we give you thanks for all the contractors and workers who have been a part of this good work. We give thanks for volunteers and those who have given money to help in this reconstruction process. May the education building be a place where grace is taught and love experienced. We offer these words in the name of Jesus who helped to reveal these amazing gifts to the world. Amen.
