Prayer for the Week: God of grace and mercy, there are so many decisions and choices we must make each day, it is often difficult to know which way to turn. Remind us to seek you when we are unsure or need guidance. We know your steadfast love is always available, we only need to run to you.
There are times when we have so much on our minds and so much to do, we make rash decisions without giving enough thought and attention to the problem or the consequences. In these times, O Lord, help us to slow down our pace and realize by taking the proper amount of time in the beginning will save us time in the end.
Make us mindful of what consequences may follow our decisions. Remind us to consider other peoples lives which may be involved as well. When we do make bad choices, remind us to come to you and ask for forgiveness. For it is through your son, Jesus Christ that we receive grace and mercy and it is in his name we pray. Amen.
