Scripture: Psalm 31:9
Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; my eye wastes away from grief, my soul and body also.
Thought for the Day: F. Alexander Magoun wrote, “Tears have a wisdom all their own. They come when a person has relaxed enough to let go and to work through his sorrow…Here lies the road to recovery.” Today, we began a discussion on love, and those who are willing to be vulnerable enough to love will also know loss and heartache. For that reason, it appears that God has provided us the needed tools to work through the sorrow of a love lost, and to, in time, find the strength to love again.
Prayer: Walk with me, O God, wether I am joyfully celebrating love or heartbroken because I have lost love. Amen.
