We seek you – Gracious Creator –
We seek you
in a time of sabbath rest,
in a time of renewal,
in a time of gentle calm.
We seek you – Gracious Creator –
We seek you because
we need you,
we need to reconnect with you,
we need a reminder of your love.
We seek you – Gracious Creator –
We seek you for the purpose
of becoming more like you,
of making your love known to others,
of assisting in the building of your kingdom.
We seek you – Gracious Creator –
We seek you
as our response to you seeking us,
as a way of expressing our gratitude,
as a means of finding the divine aim for life.
We seek you – Gracious Creator –
We seek you this day.
