How can young people keep their paths pure? By guarding them according to what you’ve said.
Thought for the Day: Sunday was Youth Sunday, and what an amazing morning. I was able to be present at all three services, and they did a fabulous job. With that said, I lift up two important happenings: 1. The youth felt good about the experience; 2. You, the congregation, flooded them with affirmations. Your words make a difference in the lives of our youth, and even though Youth Sunday is always a bit different, the people of Cypress Creek celebrated the service, the effort, the energy, and the youth themselves. If you are wondering what you can do to help strengthen the church for the future, then start by continuing to do what you are doing. And then let me add – our Youth Director, Mariah Newell, is amazing!! Our church is blessed by the gifts she brings to the ministry. Of course, I am thankful for the support she is receiving from our Youth Ministry Summer Intern, Josh Jackson. Take the time to meet him!
Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for all the good people that call Cypress Creek Christian Church their home. Thank you, Lord, for the youth of the church and all the good work they do. Amen.
